Stuck on a Truck

Faulkner Academy of Arts Performances
The Faulkner Academy of Arts will present four shows during Toad Suck Daze. Each play is about 30 minutes and will run several times.
| Finding Peace | He and his wife live in the world’s smallest hut and now the children are moving home! A hilarious lesson in learning to be satisfied. Audience participation in this production! |
| Toadally Stuck at the Bridge | The youth troupe is back with a new take on the old Billy Goat Gruff tale. A TV reporter, eco-conscious reformer and a few others promise to make our bridge dweller’s life very stressful. All puns intended in this performance. |
| Music of the 50′s and 60′s | Our own vocal instructors Shannah Cummings, director, and Kendra Thomas, performer, are joined by students of UACCM in the performing group Soundscape. Come see them as they sing and dance to the pop hits of the 1950’s and 1960’s. You may want to hit the dance floor too! |
| Soggy Spring | Conway Women’s Chorus is “takin’ to the water” in this show! Listen to old and new favorites including Singing in the Rain, Cool Water, Blue Bayou, and It’s Raining Men. The chorus will also perform a couple of numbers from their civil war program, complete with stories and costumes. And joining us will be the Mustang Singers, under the direction of Bryan Cole from Julia Lee Moore Elementary. This is a family affair with entertainment for all ages! This will be performed at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, located at Prince and Country Club Road. |
