Toad Dome
The Verizon Wireless Toad Dome is the home of the “World Championship Toad Races”. Held on the corner of Parkway and Oak Streets, The Verizon Wireless Toad Dome also features performances by several local groups. Stop by to meet the Toad Master and race a toad!
Home of the “World Championship Toad Races”
Kids of all ages (including adults) are invited to come race a toad. There is no registration required, simply come to the Verizon Toad Dome during a scheduled racing time. There will be a participation line. You may bring your own toad or borrow one from the festival for the race. Official Toad Racing Rules can be found below the schedule of events.

Official Toad Racing Rules
- The race officially begins on the Toad Master’s signal.
- Racers are not allowed to touch the toad after the start of the race unless the toad jumps out of bounds.
- Out of bounds is when the toad hops out of its racing track lane. The toad must be put back into place at hte point where the toad left thelane, not further down.
- Foreign objects or substances are not to be used to advance the toad.
- Blowing on the toad is acceptable to advance the toad
- Hitting the track surrounding hte toad is acceptable to advance the toad, but be careful not to touch the toad. (We don’t want to injure them)
- Only true Arkansas toads will be allowed to race. Please no bull frogs!
- All decisions of the judges are final.
- Have FUN!
