Several festival-sanctioned events sponsored by local nonprofit organizations take place throughout the weekend. These events, and other events that are specific to children are highlighted below. Other festival-sanctioned events can be found here.
Kids Coloring Contest
April 15 - April 30
Toad Suck Daze wants to see your creativity and coloring skills in the Kids Coloring Contest! Prizes will be given for each grade level from Pre-K to 5th grade.
Deadline to enter is Thursday, April 30. Winners will be announced on Toad Suck Daze social media and contacted directly.
Coloring pictures will be given to each elementary school in Faulkner County or you can download the picture here to print off at home. (picture avaialble April 15)

There are two ways to enter:
1. Turn the picture into the Conway Area Chamber of Commerce located at 900 Oak Street, Conway AR 72032 or
2. Have a grown-up take a picture and send to ToadSuck@ConwayArkansas.org.
Make sure to put your Name, Grade Level, and School on your entry. We can't wait to see all your amazing pictures!

Crawl Drag & Squirt

Front Street
Crawl, Drag & Squirt is an obstacle course that promotes fire safety. Elementary students across Faulkner County have participated in preliminary Crawl, Drag & Squirt competitions at their local schools. A final preliminary competition will take place during Toad Suck Daze on Friday at 5 p.m. at Central Fire Station.
The Crawl, Drag & Squirt finals will occur at 10 a.m. Saturday on Front Street. Thank you to the Conway Fire Department for providing this fun and educational activity for elementary students year after year! Crawl Drag & Squirt is produced by the Conway Fire Department.

Tadpole Trot

The Toad Suck 10K was started by the Conway Kiwanis Club in 1982. ​Today, the run includes both a 10K and a 5K Run/Walk, a Wheelchair event, a Tadpole Trot for children aged 4-10, and a Hero Hopper race for children with special needs. Since its inception, the Toad Suck Daze Run has generated over $450,000 to local non-profits, and the run strives to increase its contributions to the Faulkner County community each year.
