2025 GIVING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Despite a little rain, Toad Suck Daze had a great 2024. From last year's festival, Toad Suck Daze is able to fund the following initiatives in the community and region:

  • $25,000 to Conway Downtown Partnership to help provide hanging baskets seen every summer.

  • $4,000 to Conway Art Walk, to sponsor the Creative Cove where kids can enjoy fun crafts and activities.

  • $5,000 to Reynolds Performance Main Stage Education Series. This program is created for school districts that serve K through 12 and each performance is selected to entertain while educating.

  • $10,000 to the Toad Suck Daze Emerging Scholars program. This is an initiative created by Toad Suck Daze two years ago that enables every eighth and ninth grader in the Conway School District to take the PSAT Test.

  • $3,410 to Conway Public Schools to help sponsor STEAM Nights. These district-wide events give students and their families a chance to enjoy hands-on science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics fun.

  • $25,000 to Arkansas Imagination Library, which is an extension of the Dolly Parton Imagination Library. With help from private donors and school districts these donations ensure that no child in Mayflower, Vilonia, Greenbrier, and Conway that wants to participate will be turned away.

  • $10,000 to the Conway Public School Foundation to help with their mission to partner with teachers to enrich the learning environment for students.

  • Through a partnership with Green Bay Packaging, Toad Suck Daze will give $2,000 to the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton for technical scholarships.

  • Toad Suck Daze will continue to fund the new reptile and amphibian exhibit at the Little Rock Zoo - "Hidden Corners of the World: Uncommon Creatures." It is finished and open to the public

  • The festival will continue to partner with the Little Rock Zoo, providing funding to help provide field trips for Faulkner County schools to the zoo. Allowing students to have a fun day while learning more about the animals.

  • A new this year with the ARcare Foundation and the Arkanas Retail and Grocers Association will see Toad Suck Daze providing lunches for the Faulkner County Library's summer lunch program. This program works with Conway's First United Methodist Church to provide almost 4,000 meals over the course of the summer. Additionally, this initiative will work to identify and help stock select food pantries with high-demand essentials in the region.

  • AT&T is working with Human I-T and Toad Suck Daze to distribute 120 laptops to students in our surrounding communities, helping to support education and bridge the digital divide. These laptops will be provided to pre-selected students by Toad Suck Daze.

  • Finally, Toad Suck Daze started its charitable giving by providing scholarships to Faulkner County students attending one of the counties three institutes of higher education. Through endowments set-up at Central Baptist College, Hendrix College and University of Central Arkansas, those scholarships will continue. Additionally, through an endowment with the Arkansas Community Foundation, this year the Toad Suck Daze Community Service Scholarship will award $18,000 in scholarship to 8 students.
